The best thing about RvB is that as more people join, it gets better!
If you have nothing to do in Eve and want to try a new way of finding pvp (just asking for it in a channel with your war targets!) then come and give us a try. As Plave said, no roles means you can leave and re-join whenever you wish.

Just bear in mind, that whatever Red does, Blue will do the opposite 
This has worked really well so far, and the corps are no-where near their member limits yet. Come join in and make me have to train more CEO skills with my 3 charisma!
Check out our forums and killboards, but the best way to see it for yourself is to make a 800k noob alt and come try it!

Join the public channel 'redversusblue' and just ask people in there. Or just check the member count of both corps (linked in the MOTD of that channel) and join the one with fewer people. We are pretty even at the moment although there are some issues with timezones.
If you get in the wrong corp, its easy to switch as no-one gets any roles unless they want them.

Lots of people do. There is nothing to gain though, as if you want intel on the other side - you just ask them.

The war has really kicked off now, over 100 on each side and growing very fast.
